Professor Ian Craft,
FRCS,FRCOG, Medical Advisor
It is difficult to believe that Prof. Craft is now 63, since his activity levels are those of a much younger person. He has been labelled a workaholic and it is true that
commitment and loyalty to a team ethos are central to his character, which is demanding in order to do ones best for patients. However, many are unaware that he is equally
committed to non-medical pursuits when not working, to the extent that he went to approximately 70 to 80 concerts of different types at home and overseas last year, visited private
and National Trust country houses privately, or as a patron, of the Tate Gallery, visited exhibitions besides attending the theatre, etc., etc. Perceived as a radical by those
antagonistic to his views, he remains prepared to defend those philosophies which he considers are in the patients best interests, even if this brings him into conflict with the
views of establishment bodies.

Dr.
Mohamed Elkalyoubi, MBBCh,MSc,Dip Gyn Endoscopy,MRCOG,MRANZCOG, Consultant Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine
It has been a pleasure of mine to move to Dubai – UAE and to work with such a high caliber team. This is certainly a move forward for me, after being a Fellow in Reproductive
Medicine in Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne - Australia.
I obtained my MBBCh degree, basic medical degree and MSc, Master degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Ain Shams University Medical College in Cairo Egypt. Although I have been a
specialist in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1986, I felt that the subspecialty field of infertility needs more work. The membership of the Royal College of
Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) UK and the Diploma of Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery from France have opened the infertility subspecialty to me. I have been
treating infertile couples for about 7 years. During my recent three years stay in Australia I became member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and
Gynaecologists (MRANZCOG). I polished my general Obstetrics and Gynaecology skills as well as expanded my skills in the field of assisted reproduction. I have a special interest in
polycystic ovary syndrome, a disorder that is rather common in the region of the Arabian Gulf. I am thrilled with the pregnancy rate results of our Centre, which are above many of
the well-known international infertility centers. I am proud to be a member of the team which is responsible for the upgrading of services and facilities in Dubai Gynaecology and
Fertility Centre and which cares highly about the quality of service provided to its patients.
